Fusion Marine awarded Investors in People National Standard
Barcaldine-based
fish farm equipment supplier Fusion Marine Ltd has won Investors
in People National Standard accreditation.
According to
managing director Stephen Divers, meeting the requirements of the
IIP National Standard played an important role in the development
of the company following the company's move from East Kilbride to
the Marine Resource Centre in Barcaldine two years ago.
"Achieving
this standard is a tribute to the hard work put in by our staff.
The last two years has been a period of real change and diversification
for Fusion Marine, and working towards the IIP standard has helped
both the company and staff realise their full potential," he
said.
Fusion Marine
had been encouraged by Argyll & Islands Enterprise to put itself
forward for IIP recognition. Eric McNally, Investors in People Advisor
with AIE, said: "Argyll & Islands Enterprise congratulates
Stephen and his team on their achievement.
